Almost every detail information about the airlines have been published on their website. However, there may be something you haven’t known about them all.

1. Vietnam Airlines

Vietnam Airlines – one of the most popular airlines in Vietnam

Vietnam Airlines is one of the most popular airlines in Vietnam. Almost every Vietnamese love using services by Vietnam Airlines. One of the reasons is because this 4 star airline is chosen by Vietnamese leaders, as well as celebrities and wealthy merchants.

As a core component of Vietnam Airlines Group, Vietnam Airlines is rated 4 stars according to Skytrax standards. In 2010, the airline officially joined the Skyteam alliance, becoming the first airline in Southeast Asia to join this alliance. After joining the alliance, Vietnam Airlines’ route network has been expanded to more than 1,000 destinations worldwide. Vietnam Airlines is considered a traditional airline with quality and convenient services.

Vietnam Airlines has flight routes covering almost all destinations throughout Vietnam from the plains to the mountains and islands, which creates a great advantage for the airline. In addition, Vietnam Airlines also has international flights to important and famous places in the world spread across all continents.

The cabin of Vietnam Airlines is always larger than that of other domestic airlines and often has snacks for long flights. In addition, the airfare includes 10 kg of hand luggage and 23 kg of checked baggage, which is very convenient for passengers carrying a lot of belongings.

However, Vietnam Airlines also has certain limitations such as ticket prices are often quite high compared to other domestic airlines, which leads to low- and middle-income people often choosing other airlines with cheaper price.

2. Vietjet Air

Vietjet Air is the leading low-cost airline in Vietnam. Vietjet Air is always famous for its extremely cheap prices compared to other domestic airlines such as Vietnam Airlines or Jetstar Pacific. This is a great advantage for the company when the majority of Vietnamese people currently have low to moderate income and this is the main target that the company targets. Vietjet Air very often launches “0 VND” low-fare programs and many other attractive incentives to attract customers.

Despite being a low-cost airline, Vietjet Air’s service quality is also quite good with a new fleet of aircraft and high safety with more than 80 Boeing A320 and A321 aircraft with a capacity of nearly 200 passengers, and Vietjet Air owns a professional staff with many impressive marketing programs.

Vietjet Air’s aircraft are covering 18 domestic destinations including: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Buon Ma Thuot, Can Tho, Chu Lai, Da Lat, Da Nang, Dong Hoi, Hai Phong, Hue, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Pleiku, Quy Nhon, Thanh Hoa, Tuy Hoa, Vinh and 26 international destinations mainly to Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia.
